Part-time Event Manager

At its core, event management is the process of planning an event. This is any type of event, whether hosted in-person, virtually or hybrid.

At Vital Transformation (VT) we organise a variety of events, ranging from one-hour webinars to full day or multiple day events with or without a remote component. We arrange these events in the EU and in the US on behalf of our clients.

To reinforce our team and at short notice, we’re looking for a part-time event manager to reinforce our team (on average 20 hours per week, until delivery of the events in September), preferably self-employed and located centrally within the EU (preferably Brussels, but not mandatory). You will work from home but will need to travel on occasion for location inspections, client meetings etc. and of course be present for the delivery of the events at the event location. Travel and accommodation will be arranged or reimbursed based on receipts.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Planning an event from start to finish.
  • Generating ideas for the event.
  • Managing event budgets.
  • Managing logistics and event venues.
  • Managing audio and virtual event companies.
  • Putting together event marketing plans.
  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.
  • Handling budgeting and invoicing.
  • Liaising and negotiating with vendors.
  • Create status reports for both clients and the VT team.
  • Managing branding and communication.
  • Developing event feedback surveys.
